Forms & Applications
September 12, 2012
I am pleased to announce continuation of the Research and Travel Grant Program of the University Research Council for the year 2013. In the past few years, about forty grants have been awarded annually. Two opportunities are provided to submit proposals. Deadlines are December 3, 2012, and April 1, 2013. In contrast to previous years, proposals for Research Grants and Travel Grants may be submitted for consideration at either time. Grants will not exceed $10,000 and must be utilized within 12 months of award.
All full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty members are eligible to submit proposals. In the case of faculty members up for contract renewal, an award will be contingent on that renewal. Proposals from junior faculty and proposals that may lead in the near future to external funding are encouraged.
Please contact the Office of Research and Graduate Studies, ext. 8-4336 if you have questions.
Note that there will not be another call for proposals for the April 1 deadline.
If you decide to apply and need assistance in preparing your proposal, please contact the Office of Research and Graduate Studies, ext. 8-4336.
Sincerely,
James E. Quick
