As the co-chairs of the Campaign Steering Committee for Faculty and Staff, we are delighted to report that our kickoff events were a tremendous success last Thursday. Over 800 of you attended the kickoff events and we think you’ll agree that the energy and momentum was contagious! Check out the photos and video from the day.

And we’re also delighted to report that we easily beat the 25% participation goal. Check out the results by school and unit and the donor list to see the 1,066 faculty and staff members who have made a gift since June 1, 2009. President Turner will be reporting faculty and staff participation at the Board of Trustees meeting, so we still need those of you who have not made a gift to do so this week. Remember, participation is measured by the number of cash gifts received and gifts of all sizes count toward this goal.

Whether you give to a specific area, President’s Partners or one of the campaign priorities, you will be showing your support of SMU, contributing to the campaign, and providing valuable resources to help ensure the continued success of the University.
