Texas Natural Resource Information System is a division of the Texas water development board and acts as the state’s clearinghouse for digital maps and other digital resources data.



The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is the environmental agency for the state.



The United States Environmental Protection Agency has 10 regional offices, each of which is responsible for several states and territories and for the execution of the Agency's programs in respective region.  EPA Region 6 serves Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas and 65 Tribes.
