All formal education in England: B.S. in Geology and Physics from Durham University and Ph.D. in Geophysics from Imperial College of London University, but learned everything that I need to know in the US.

Came to US in 1974: Post-doc in Geothermal Studies at SMU (DDB)

Various teaching and research positions: New Mexico State University, Lunar and Planetary Institute, Purdue University, Northern Arizona University.  Time off for bad behavior in Australia (Macquarie University).

Have done heat flow/geothermal studies on five of the seven continents and three of the eight (or nine) planets and the Moon.
