Description & Purpose

An international energy conference specializing in the enhancement of existing oil and gas wells for electrical production from the Earth’s heat. Geothermal energy produces clean, renewable electrical power that is considered a base load source since it produces 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The energy can be extracted from well fluids using compact turbines with binary fluids. These systems are now sized to fit a single well or multiple wells with approximately 120°F fluid temperature differential between produced and cooling temperatures. Thus, in the Gulf Coast temperatures of 225°F+ are candidates for use; temperatures can be as low as 165°F in cooler climates. This capability to generate power gives a new revenue stream to low yield producers with high water volume and a reason to keep them producing. Learn how to take these wells and instead of abandoning them, energize them with geothermal power. A high water flow geopressure well becomes an immediate revenue path if converted to electrical production. This is an opportunity to think outside the box for the Energy Industry. With systems installed in Chena Hot Springs, Alaska and the Wyoming Rocky Mountain Oil Field Testing Center, and the soon to be completed installations in the Florida Jay Field and central Mississippi, the ability to use low temperature fluids is no longer just a concept, it’s a reality. This “how to” conference will provide you with the information necessary to develop a geothermal energy portfolio.
