Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor is an associate at New Energy Finance. Based in Washington, DC, he heads the research and analytics operations for NEF’s coverage of the Geothermal and Clean Coal industries.

With technical experience in fields ranging from jet engine design to molecular genetics, Mark has acquired an analytical skillset adaptable and applicable across a range of fields. Prior to joining NEF, he worked as a research associate for the Geothermal Energy Association. Notable products of his time there include a comprehensive report on geothermal subsurface technology and an update on the current status of the US geothermal industry. His works have received considerable press, and have been used in the decision-making process by industry leaders and members of Congress.

Mark holds an MS from Princeton University and a BS from Brigham Young University.
