Ben Kerr has been with the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources since 2003 after graduating from the University of Victoria Department of Geography. He has worked on on a diverse range of projects relating to the oil and gas industry in British Columbia. These have included petroleum and quaternary geology studies, infrastructure and policy development and environmental programs. Specializing in Geographic Information Systems, over the last couple of years Mr. Kerr has applied these skills to analyzing downhole temperature readings from the large database of oil and gas drilling information maintained by the British Columbia government.
