Prentice Creel


Prentice Creel has over 28 years experience working in the petroleum industry, currently serving as Senior Reservoir Engineer for Kinder Morgan CO2 Co. LP in Midland, Texas. He is charged with implementing the conformance and reservoir management analysis to address improving production and WAG Flood performance on the SACROC Unit near Snyder, Texas. Mr. Creel started with Kinder Morgan CO2 Co LP September 1, 2007. Previously he served as a Technical Engineering Advisor addressing cementing and conformance technologies for Halliburton.  He contributed to the development of Halliburtonís XERO Computer program addressing in a fuzzy logic expert analysis method to assist in problem identification, solution methods, treatment recommendations, and placement methods for Conformance Control problems. Prentice was part of a team assigned to help developments in Reservoir Simulation modeling and techniques.  He holds nine patents and 18 pending patents on processes and technologies utilized in the industry under Halliburton. Prentice received his BS Degree in Engineering from New Mexico State University at Las Cruces and studied Microbiology at Colorado State University.
