UC Foundations

In today’s rapidly changing world, a university education must provide students in all majors with the tools to embark on a lifetime of learning. UC Foundations courses assure that students read and write critically; possess basic quantitative reasoning skills; are introduced to concepts of life-long personal responsibility and wellness; and explore how differ academic disciplines define and create knowledge.

Because these skills are essential for a successful college experience, UC Foundations courses should be completed within your first four semesters of enrollment.
