General Education Review Committee Welcomes Your Feedback

This site has been developed to promote participation by all members of the SMU community. The committee is co-chaired by Associate Provost Tom Tunks and Associate Dean for General Education Dennis Cordell, and has been constructed to be broadly representative of the campus.

We have included both academic and non-academic units, and invite your input and participation so that we might collectively pursue the goal of strengthening the experience that undergraduates have at Southern Methodist University in a manner that is consistent with the mission and strategic goals of the university, while being cognizant of the emerging national consensus about the aims of college study.

The Committee will use multiple methods of gathering University community input in order to create the opportunity for an inclusive community-building experience. In short, your participation is highly valued and encouraged.
