Bid Day
This is the traditional day when IFC men and Panhellenic women join their
respective organizations as new members. 2009 marked the 94th Annual occurrence
- a tradition as old as SMU!
Special Olympics
This is a program sponsored by the Interfraternity Council. 2009 marked the
11th Annual occurrence.
Paideia Greek Awards
This is a program sponsored by the Order of Omega. 2009 ceremony marked the
4th Annual occurrence.
President A. Kenneth Pye Outstanding Greek Leader Award
This is an award sponsored by Fraternity and Sorority Life and given by the
department at the All-University Awards Extravaganza. These six student awards
are the highest awards for Greek Life at SMU and are awarded to graduating
seniors. The 2010 ceremony marked the 14th Annual occurrence.
Sing Song
This is a program planned by the Program Council, but heavily participated in by fraternity and sorority chapters.
Service Day
This is a program sponsored by the Multicultural Greek Council which involves
all members of their community doing service together in the Greater Dallas
area.
