Fall Recruitment: for Upperclass Women only

This recruitment process in the Fall semester is for upperclass women only (those that have passed and completed at least 12 college credit hours at SMU in a long semester (i.e. Fall or Spring))

Monday August 27, 2012	Fall Recruitment Information Session @ 7pm (FOR UPPERCLASS WOMEN ONLY) Hughes Trigg Student Center ****For upperclass women only wanting to join a sorority in the Fall.
Fall Semester	Chapters participating in Fall recruitment will host various events throughout the semester.

Spring Formal Recruitment: for all First Year Women & Upperclass Women

ATTENTION - In order to be eligible to receive a bid of membership during the formal recruitment process, Potential New Members MUST attend all Mandatory meetings during the fall semester and all events the week of recruitment. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Wednesday September 12, 2012	Greek Picnic @ 5:30pm Flagpole Potential New Members have the opportunity to meet greek men & women from all chapters.
Sunday September 16, 2012	Mandatory Formal Recruitment Information Session #1 & Mandatory Panhellenic Preview @ 9am-3pm Hughes Trigg Student Center You must attend all 3 information sessions to be eligible to go through formal recruitment in January.
Wednesday October 3, 2012	Ice Cream Social 5:00-7:00pm Hughes Trigg Student Center Ballroom Potential New Members have the opportunity to meet sorority women from the 8 panhellenic chapters.
Wednesday October 24, 2012	Mandatory Formal Recruitment Information Session #2 @ 7pm Hughes Trigg Student Center Ballroom You must attend all 3 information sessions to be eligible to go through formal recruitment in January.
Monday November 26, 2012	Mandatory Formal Recruitment Information Session #3 @ 5:30pm Hughes Trigg Student Center Ballroom You must attend all 3 information sessions to be eligible to go through formal recruitment in January.
Sunday January 13, 2013	Residence Halls Open 9am
Sunday January 13, 2013	Mandatory Orientation Meeting @ 6pm Hughes Trigg Student Center Ballroom You must be present at this meeting to be eligible to participate in formal recruitment in January.
Monday January 14, 2013	Open House Round @ 8:30am Hughes Trigg Student Center Potential New Members will visit each of the chapters to meet women from all sororities.
Tuesday January 15, 2013	Philanthropy Round @ 8:30am Hughes Trigg Student Center During the Philanthropy Round, each chapter will demonstrate their commitment to philanthropy through craft projects and speakers. You will be participating in the craft projects.
Wednesday January 16, 2013	Skit Round @ 8:30am Hughes Trigg Student Center Chapters will entertain you with skits about what their sorority means to them.
Thursday January 17, 2013	Preference Round @ 8:00am Hughes Trigg Student Center This is your final opportunity to interact with the chapters before bid day.
Thursday January 17, 2013	Bid Day @ 4:45pm Today you will meet your new sisters! Chapters have retreats planned for new members. Please prepare to stay overnight.
