IFC Important Deadlines and Information

Fall Recruitment: for Upperclass Men only

This recruitment process in the Fall semester is for upperclass men only (those that have passed and completed at least 12 college credit hours at SMU in a long semester (i.e. Fall or Spring))

There is no deadline for this process as it is handled on a chapter by chapter basis. Please contact chapter representatives to inquire about participating in fall recruitment directly.

Spring Formal Recruitment: for all First Year Men & Upperclass Men

August 1: Registration application goes live on-line.

September 5th- 1st Informational Meeting for men interested in IFC formal recruitment

October 10th- 2nd Informational Meeting for men interested in IFC formal recruitment

November 28th- 3rd Informational Meeting for men interested in IFC formal recruitment

December 1 @ 11:59pm: Deadline to Register for IFC Recruitment.

January 13 @ 3:00pm: IFC Recruitment begins
