Order of Omega was founded at the University of Miami in 1959 to recognize members of the Greek community who demonstrate outstanding achievement in the academics and leadership. SMU is home to the Alpha Phi chapter.
The SMU Alpha Phi chapter was chartered in March of 1983 and has initiated over 1000 members into the Order.
Initiates must be juniors or seniors in good standing who have over a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and are active within the Greek community. Selection is coordinated through the executive committee in the Spring semester.

The Alpha Phi chapter of Order of Omega has tapped the following students for membership.
