Dr. Jouriles’s research interests are children’s responses to marital conflict/violence, interventions to prevent
violence and assist victims of violence, and violence in adolescent romantic relationships. He received his
doctorate
from SUNY at Stony Brook and currently serves as professor and chair of the SMU Psychology Department. |

Dr. McDonald’s research interests are marital conflict/violence and children’s adjustment, family violence,
interventions for child externalizing problems, and parenting interventions. She received her
doctorate from University
of Houston and is now an associate professor in the SMU Psychology Department. |
