Resources

Online resources have become increasingly significant sources of information and analysis in recent years.  In particular, primary sources that were once difficult to find in print are being digitized and posted on websites for easy access.  This is a wonderful development for students of ethics (on either side of the podium), but the exponential growth in on-line materials is not risk-free.  Secondary sources abound and can be useful starting places, especially for research in an unfamiliar area, but they should seldom be relied upon, especially in scholarly writing, and never when the author is not known and trusted.

Thus, we offer the links in the "Resources" section of our website with this caution: all electronic sources need to be approached with care.  Even reliable sources need to be used with these immortal words in mind: "Trust but verify."
