Faculty

One of the Maguire Center's principal goals is to enhance the ethics-related educational opportunities of our students inside and outside the classroom.  To that end, we support the scholarly pursuits of the University's faculty, encourage the development of new ethics courses and ethics-related components of existing courses, and regularly bring lectures and discussions to the University community.

scholarship and course development

The Center offers stipends and opportunities for faculty to collaborate and consult on their ethics-related projects through teaching grants and Public Scholar lectureships.  More information on the programs can be found through the navigation bar on the left.   A list of courses that have been created or enhanced as a result of our teaching grants, along with all other ethics-related course offering around the University, may be found here.

We also support faculty scholarship through the publication of books and Occasional Papers.  More information about these may be found on our Publications page.
