LECTURES
ESP lectures inform and educate students, faculty and
the public about significant environmental issues.
Accomplished scientists, environmental lawyers,
and leaders in business or non-profit agencies will
speak on a wide range of relevant topics. The subject
matter will be of interest not only to scientists and
their students, but also to those who have a role or
interest in environmental policy, political science or
personal environmental responsibility.

CURRICULUM NEWS
Engineering electives have been added to the
Earth Science Emphasis in order to allow students the opportunity to
increase their knowledge at the intersection between geology and engineering.
In addition, Global Geomorphology and Internship in Geosciences have been added to the curriculum as alternates to
Process Geomorphology and Integrative Research, respectively. This provides students who major in Environmental
Science with an emphasis in Earth Science an even greater level of flexibility in course choices.
