Most classes at SMU are taught by faculty, not graduate students.
Most faculty members, including senior professors, teach undergraduate
courses, and classes are small enough to encourage close faculty-student
interaction.
Of the more than 500 faculty members at SMU, 230 are teaching full-time
within the Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences.
