prevent ink smudging on folded letterheads
(applies to HP LaserJet 4XXX and 9040 models)
Raise fuser temperature on the printer:
-
1) On the LCD screen select Menu

2) Select “Configure Device”
-
3) Select “Print Quality”
-
4) Select “Fuser Modes”
-
5) Select “Letterhead”
-
6) Set “HIGH2”
Use proper print setting on computer:
-
1) When printing from Microsoft Office software, click “Properties” on the Print setting box
-
2) Click on “Paper/Quality” tab
-
3) Pick “Letterhead” in the “Paper Type” dropdown selection
