  • Have you verified/updated your Personal Information?

It is university policy that you have a valid Home and a valid Mailing address, Home and Mailing phone numbers (cell number if available), and emergency contact information.  Therefore, each term you must verify/update all four sections of your Personal Information—addresses, phone numbers, emergency contact(s), and demographic data prior to enrolling.  If the information currently on file is correct, you can simply verify this by checking the checkbox after each section and click save.  If this process is not completed, a HOLD will be placed on your account which blocks enrollment.  If you have a question, please contact  Enrollment Resource at 214.768.3617 or email enrol_serv@smu.edu

  • Do you have an address HOLD?

If you have a HOLD due to an incorrect Home/Mailing address, you will need to verify/update this information before you can enroll for the upcoming Fall 2009 term.  If you have an address HOLD on your account, remember to email enrol_serv@smu.edu with your name and Student ID number after you have updated your address information on Access.SMU to have the HOLD released.  If you have a question, please contact Enrollment Resource at 214.768.3617 or enrol_serv@smu.edu
