In the spring of 2007, Professor Marshall Terry will officially retire from SMU, the place
he has called his academic home for over 50 years. Spring of 2007 is also the 30th anniversary of SMU Litfest. The SMU 30th Anniversary Literary Festival Honoring Marshall Terry will celebrate these two significant milestones.

This year’s festival brings together many who have been guided by Professor Terry and inspired by his words. Join us Friday evening for readings from Marsh Terry’s novels and short stories.   Saturday features readings by some of the many fine writers who have been students at SMU and for a panel discussion featuring Professor Terry and his colleagues.
