Shots Fired Video - You will be asked for a username and password. Your username is your email alias (the name before the @ in your SMU email address). Your password is your normal network password.
Emergency Notification - Redundant system utilizing both high-tech and low-tech solutions.
SMU Police Department - On duty 24 hours a day; 7 days a week; 365 days a year. Emergencies - 911 or (214)768-3333
Know What To Do In Emergencies - In case of emergency, SMU will attempt to communicate with you in a number of ways. Notification may reach you by city sirens, police vehicle speakers, public address systems, bullhorns, test messages, phone calls, building managers or other means


LOCKDOWN AN ACTIVE SHOOTER OR OTHER VIOLENCE ON CAMPUS
	DETERMINE the best way to protect yourself GET OUT, HIDE OUT or TAKE ACTION CALL 911 when it is safe to do so
EVACUATE A DANGER INSIDE OR NEAR THE BUILDING
	LEAVE the building - do not use elevators ASSIST the disabled TAKE valuables and your mobile phone with you PROCEED to assembly area outside
SEVERE WEATHER DANGER OUTSIDE OR WARNING SIREN SOUNDED
	SEEK refuge inside a building and remain there TURN OFF ventilation systems TUNE INTO media, if possible WAIT for the ALL CLEAR from campus officials
