TAKS Writing Skills Workshop for 4th Graders

Entering fourth graders who want to improve their writing skills in preparation for next spring's TAKS Writing Assessment will learn about the structure and organization of writing in this two-week concentrated workshop. Students will learn to visualize each academic task through multisensory instruction, graphic representations and step-by-step guidelines. A performance- based measure will determine the writer's strengths and weaknesses in both content and mechanics. The program makes writing easier, faster, and more rewarding for all students.
