- Dr. Lynn Jacobs was honored with SMU's annual Distinguished University Citizen Award at the Faculty Breakfast held May 17 of this year. The award, given by the Provost's Office, honors three faculty members each year for service and activities that benefit students and the University's academic mission.
- Dr. Birdie Barr was recently nominated as a 2008 HOPE Professor (Honoring Our Professors Excellence) through the Department of Residence Life & Student Housing. Also, Dr. Barr is a recent recipient of the SMU Panhellenic Inspirational Professor award.
- Brian Fennig was recognized as the Faculty/Staff of the month by the SMU
Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary for September 2008.
Events
