Comprehensive Exam

The purpose of the comprehensive examination is to evaluate the student’s mastery of content in the program of study. The 3-question comprehensive examination is an assessment of the student’s comprehensive ability to apply theories and concepts in each of the following areas:

• Core Courses
• Specialization Area
• Second Specialization Area or Education Electives
