The week of economics will focus on the basic topics needed to teach AP macro and AP micro. There will be an emphasis on the key graphs, key topics, and critical lessons. There will also be a focus on free response strategies, overall do's and don'ts, and syllabus construction. Since most regional schools teach macro, the bulk of the activities will focus on macro, but important micro issues will be addressed. Participants will be given significant lesson resources for the topics and will complete most of the activities that will be available for their students. The theme will be to help those will all levels of AP experience complete a usable semester plan for each course.
