Staff-Development Workshops: Customized Training

The Institute for Evidence-Based Education offers staff-development workshops in the greater Dallas/Ft Worth area.. If you are located in North Texas and would like to schedule staff development training in your district or to obtain more information about any of the following workshops, please contact us.

 

Kindergarten Peer-Assisted Literacy Strategies, K-PALS

• 1 day workshop minimum.  (1.5 days preferred)              

1st-Grade PALS

• 1 day workshop

Teacher directed PALS

• 1.5 day workshop

Proactive Foundation

• 4 days (2 prior to implementation, 1 day 6-8 weeks later, 1 day Spring semester)

Proactive Level 1

• 4 days (2 prior to implementation, 1 day 6-8 weeks later, 1 day Spring semester)

Proactive Level 2

• 4 days (2 prior to implementation, 1 day 6-8 weeks later, 1 day Spring semester)

Proactiva

• 4 days (2 prior to implementation, 1 day 6-8 weeks later, 1 day Spring semester)

Responsive Reading

• 5 days (3 prior to implementation, 1 day 6-8 weeks later, 1 day Spring semester)

Become a Trainer!

The Institute for Evidence-Based Education offers training to individuals who are interested in becoming trainers in specific interventions. Each workshop is taught by a nationally certified trainer. The following programs are currently available:

Proactive Series

• 5-day workshop for each level: Foundation Level, Level 1, and Level 2.
