Project Coordinator
Lenore Counts, M. Ed., has served as a project coordinator at the Institute since 2004. She is currently the Project Coordinator for the Texas Instruments Model Demonstration Grant, funded by the Texas Instruments Foundation for the purpose of implementing the LEAP pre-school program and introducing a teacher-coaching model in 3 Head Start of Greater Dallas centers.
Ms. Counts’ previous teaching experience includes piloting a high school educational program for students diagnosed with high-functioning autism at a Dallas-area independent school district, as well as working in middle school resource rooms. Ms. Counts earned her M.Ed. from Southern Methodist University and her B.S. in Special Education from the University of Vermont.
