The faculty of the Department of Education Policy and Leadership dedicate their research and program design to finding solutions to contemporary problems in education. It is our belief that poorly crafted or poorly implemented policies and a lack of leadership preparation and development are problems that stand in the way of reforming schools to promote higher student achievement. The goal of this conference is to illuminate the problems related to policy and leadership and to explore solutions to those problems from a variety of perspectives.
