SMU's
Dispute Resolution program offers a seminar series for professionals interested
in refining their conflict management skills without the commitment of a full
certification program. These two- to six-day seminars are available for noncredit
or credit and target very specific issues in the fields of conflict resolution
and negotiation. In addition, customized programs can be designed for corporations
interested in providing in-house training for their employees.
If you would like to take any regular graduate class offered by the Center for Dispute Resolution for non-credit, including the regular 10-week classes, please call 972-473-3435 for information and registration procedures. The cost for each class taken on a non-credit basis is $1462.00.

Announcing a new 3-Course Certificate Program:
Team Building and International Organizational Collaboration
This certificate incorporates the skills of team building and group facilitation
with a heavy focus on international and multi-cultural implementation.
From transnational corporations down to small non-profits, the need for
employees to work in cohesive and functional teams and to communicate
effectively across cultures is key to productivity.
In this program you will learn how to help organizations develop new
teams, resolve issues involving team dynamics, and facilitate brainstorming and
problem solving sessions within a variety of group settings. The inclusion of
course-work within international locations will prepare you to apply your skills
in multicultural settings.
