John H. Wade, J.D.

John Wade is a professor of law and Director of the Dispute Resolution Center at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. John is a practicing lawyer and has an active mediation practice in organizational, family, State Cabinet, indigenous and commercial disputes on the east coast of Australia. He has published over 90 books and articles on mediation, family law and legal education.

John is editor of the Bond Dispute Resolution email newsletter.

John has led over 150 negotiation, arbitration and mediation courses in Indonesia, UK, New Zealand, Hong Kong, USA and Australia. Since 1994 he has taught mediation courses at Pepperdine, SMU, Vermont and Alabama.

He has received various teaching awards including best university law teacher at Sydney University (1989); Bond University (1990) and in Australia (1998).
