Misty Solt, Ph.D.
Instructor

Misty Solt, Ph.D., is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor as well as a  National Certified Counselor.  Dr. Solt is a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor.  She received her Ph.D. from North Texas in 2003 where she was an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling Department.  Dr. Solt opened her own practice in Frisco in May of 2003 and specializes in the areas of anxiety and attachment.

Earlier work following her Master's degree in Mental Health from Eastern Illinois University was in the areas of school crisis counseling, in-home counseling, agency counseling and private practice. 

Dr. Solt has numerous publications in academic journals, and she also has started her own company that produces children's books to help them through difficult situations like visiting the doctor or dentist, divorce, and other psychologically significant events.
