Heather McMinn
Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. McMinn received her Master's in Clinical Counseling in 2003 and her Ph.D. in General Psychology at Southern Methodist University in 2004.  Currently Heather practices as a Psychoeducational Consulting and Assessment Strategist.  She has been an Adjunct Instructor for the Psychology Department of Dedman College and the School of Education since 2004.  Previously, she served as Assistant Director of the College Preparatory Condition Admission Program from 2002-2005.  This program trains potential SMU students on study skills and time management and tutors them on English, Math and Psychology basics.  She was an Undergraduate Academic Advisor from 1999 to 2002. Honors include Excellence in Teaching Award in 2005 and Outstanding Master's Thesis in Psychology in 2004.
