Ms. Leslie Stalcup-Laws has 37 years’ experience in the field of education. From 1973 to 2003, she was involved in all levels of teaching from elementary to secondary in the Texas public school system. For the college level, Dr. Laws has been an Adjunct Instructor at Navarro Junior College, Cedar Valley Jr. College, Texas Woman’s University, and Prairie View A&M University. Leslie was appointed the Lead Counselor at North Dallas High School in Dallas and served as the Interim Director of Prairie View A&M University (Dallas Campus) in the summer of 2008. She has taught and is certified in a wide variety of subject areas including Reading, English, Gifted Science, Math, College Developmental Reading and Developmental Writing. She also has 12 years of significant experience as an elementary school, middle school and special education counselor, and in providing professional services as an individual, interpersonal, family, and community crisis counselor.
