Molly Arnold Kuzmich, PhD, LMFT-S, LPC-S, RPT

Adjunct Instructor

 

Dr. Kuzmich is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She is a state board approved supervisor for individuals seeking full licensure (LMFT and LPC). She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Family Therapy and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University.

Dr. Kuzmich has worked with families and children in counseling and casework capacities since 1993. She has additional experience and training in play therapy, and in couple and family therapy. Dr. Kuzmich holds a strong systemic view of individuals and families, believing that individuals are best understood within the contexts of their lives. Her primary clinical and research interests are counseling with families and couples, the parent-child relationship, and counseling children within the family therapy context.

Dr. Kuzmich is currently in private practice at Kuzmich Family Counseling, PA in Lewisville, Texas. She is a former visiting professor for the Graduate Counseling program at Texas Wesleyan University, and an adjunct professor at Texas Woman’s University. She is a former Child and Adolescent Director at Denton County Friends of the Family, and a former Child Protective Services caseworker in Dallas County. Dr. Kuzmich is a trained mental health neutral for the collaborative law process. She is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and Denton County Collaborative Professionals. Additionally, Dr. Kuzmich a trained mediator. Dr. Kuzmich is a Past President of the North Texas Chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy, and previously was a Student Director for the Texas Association for Play Therapy. Additionally, she is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Association for Play Therapy.
