The Simmons Young Leaders in Education (YLE) is a group of young professionals who are passionate about education in our community. The group’s mission is to develop opportunities for young (and young at heart) leaders to use their time and talents to strengthen the educational scene in North Texas.

Each year the YLE hosts a benefit to raise money for youth and families requiring services to succeed in education. This year, the YLE has chosen the Simmons Mustang Learning Center for Youth as its project and is spearheading service and fundraising opportunities to support it. The Mustang Learning Center provides one-on-one tutoring for students in kindergarten through high school. Carl Dorvil '05 is chairing the Service committee; Anna Lee '09 and Claire McCormack '09 are chairing the Fundraising committee.
