Program Cost

Graduate students in the program take advantage of SMU's reduced tuition rate for educators. The rate for the 2011-2012 Academic Year is $487 per semester hour.  Participants are encouraged to seek financial assistance from their school districts for financial institutions.  There is an additional fee for parking.

Financial Aid

Students who are admitted to a degree program and who enroll for a minimum of 6 hours in any one term may be eligible to apply for federal financial aid.  Contact the Office of Financial Aid for details of visit the Financial Aid website. Students are responsible for paying for the initial course in July, since financial aid eligibility is effective for the fall semester. The approximate cost is $500, plus a parking fee.
