Improving Learning and Achievement through Evidence-Based Leadership

The Department of Education Policy and Leadership is not about business as usual. Our graduates are uniquely prepared to lead and address contemporary challenges in education through the development and implementation of innovative and effective evidence-based solutions in schools, institutions of higher education, government, and policy organizations. Our central mission is to prepare school leaders, researchers, and policy leaders to significantly improve the learning and achievement of those students they will ultimately serve at all education levels.
