ACE Video:

Similarities and Differences in Monolingual and Bilingual Gifted and Talented Students. This study was conducted in Fall 2007 in the Carrollton-Farmers branch school district by Ruth Lozano, Ana Winton, Patrice Jackson and Paula Serna. The video is setup in three chapters and includes the response of the students to the following questions:

• “Why are you in the gifted and talented program?”
• “What makes you sad?”
• “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

The purpose of the presentation is to make teachers and administrators cognizant of the differences among monolingual and bilingual GT students. Please click here to view the video.
