eCenter People participate in Comdex via Teleportec System

COMDEX held in Las Vegas, Nevada, the week of November 12th
is one of the largest computer conventions in the world.

The eCenter has been asked by EDS to join with their EDS Fellows in a
series of panel discussions "at" Comdex moderated by Michael Krasny of
National Public Radio.

Dallas participants will appear virtually in Las Vegas using the futuristic
Teleportec System (see http://www.teleportec.com/. "Teleporters" are systems
where the life size image of the presenter is captured and transmitted as a
3-dimensional image. Teleportation gives a sense of presence by achieving
eye to eye contact with a distant person who is teleported into the room.
Panelists will participate from Teleportec's headquarters in Dallas at LBJ
and the Toll Way.

There are 4 panel discussions, each of which will be repeated several times
during the week of November 12th. Topics are Security and Privacy, Digital
Learning, Mobility, and Collaboration & Innovation. The following eCenter affiliates
will be participating
