In 1992, Jim Champy and Michael Hammer changed the face of business when they introduced the concept of re-engineering.  Today, Mr. Champy argues that the process redesign of re-engineering must now be extended across corporate boundaries to create a world of free-flowing information and products.  In this environment of collaboration, managers will have to think differently about transparency, harmonization, and standardization.  Mr. Champy will describe these principles and the practice of X-engineering.  He will also address how companies and managers that may be challenged and weary of change must reinvent themselves for the digital age. [See Jim Champy's Biography]
