The eCenter delivers innovative educational programs (both degree and professional) on emerging multi-disciplinary technology topics delivered in multiple modes (on-campus, on-site, and online).

The eCenter is the home of The Guildhall at SMU, which offers graduate level game development education. Today, The Guildhall at SMU program has graduated nearly 450 students and alumni, who are working at more than 150 video game studios around the world, proving it has the right curriculum and faculty to produce game developers. Many industry icons consider The Guildhall at SMU the premier digital game development education program in the country.

The Guildhall offers both a Master's degree in interactive game technology and a graduate professional certificate. In addition, SMU's innovative five-year dual Bachelor's degree in computer science or Bachelor's degree in fine arts and Master's degree in digital game technology is an educational first.
