Short Bio:
Kathy has lived in Dallas for 13 years with her partner, Rose. Their family includes several cats and dogs. She plans on graduating in December, 2002 and is hoping to do historical research with a cultural resource management company.

"I wrote this paper as a result of going to the SMU-in-Taos Archaeology Field School in the summer of 2001. It was a great experience and putting together the historical research with the material culture of Fort Burgwin was enlightening."
