Hart eCenter SMU

eBusiness Fundamentals

This noncredit course provides an overview of eBusiness and a glimpse of its potential to transform all of our lives through increased efficiencies and conveniences.

The course requires only an estimated 29 hours to complete. It makes extensive use of streaming video, online exercises and assessments. A course map provides a recommended path of study through the units, but alternatively, course participants may study the units in whatever order and to whatever depth they choose. Throughout the course there are exercises that help you stay on track and help your mentor to guide you. Participants will be involved in a blended learning experience of both independent study and collaborative project work. Independent study covers five units, including eBusiness Opportunities, eBusiness Challenges, Legal Issues of eBusiness, eBusiness Architectures and Technologies, and Nortel's eBusiness Products.
