Southern Methodist University's Digital Commons was founded in 1994 to promote campus-wide teaching excellence through the appropriate use of technology. The Digital Commons helps create and maintain the online courses offered by the Hart eCenter and develops resources for instructors teaching innovative Internet-related courses.
Southern Methodist University's Norwick Center for Media and Instructional Technology provides videographer services for eCenter courses. Its primary mission is to enhance the effective utilization of media and technology in the classroom and other learning environments at SMU. To provide this service, CMIT provides a media library of instructional programs, viewing facilities, equipment distribution and classroom support, production and duplication services, and teleconferencing and satellite services.
The Maguire Center seeks to recognize, honor, and model ethical behavior; provide moral reflection on the contemporary issues; and celebrate ethics that reflect SMU's fundamental goals throughout the campus and in the Greater Dallas community.
ECeBS intends to foster, generate, and disseminate science-based and practically relevant know-how and intelligence on the critical success factors and effects of transforming business processes using Internet technologies in Europe.
