I'm realizing so much
about myself. It's unbelievable
how much I've grown up. I still
have a ways to go but it's pretty
interesting so far. I put myself
through so much. I spent the entire
weekend sleeping, drinking, eating,
dancing, watching football, playing
pool. It was actually pretty fun.
But the drinking got me down. I
liked it at Kansas when I'd go out
one night a week and the 2nd night
I would workout, shower, study,
rent a movie, watch TV, write,
read, relax. It feels good to take
care of myself. So why do I keep
doing all this like it's living life to
the fullest ... because it's not. Living life completely is breathing
deeply & watching a baby smile,
families congregate for dinner or
play ball in the park. Living is jogging w/ friends & turning cart-
wheels every now and then. Living to me is NOT getting drunk &
smoking myself to death. It's not
about your name being well known
or well-off.
What I want in my life
What is impt. To me?
1. GOD—I don't spend any time
praying except maybe 5 min. before I go to bed if I remember. I try and be kind & sincere to everyone I
meet. I try to be a good person, but
I'm not allowing God to work fully
in my life. I want him to be in my
life more.
What I can do:
read Christian bks.
listen to music
hang out w/ good people
* university Bible study
2. Having good supportive
friendships
3. Being with people who like to
dream, discuss, are go-getters,
and love life & themselves
4. My family—don't give up on it
5. Being creative and hear nature
6. Loving my body (feeding it
properly)
7. My education
8. Being my own indiv. Self &
lovin' my uniqueness.
