Minors

beyond the majors

Minors add another dimension to your major studies and let you round out your education to make the most of the options available to you. They can either complement your major or serve as a contrast that gives you more depth as an individual.

Almost all Dedman College majors are offered as minors. Together there are more than 85 majors and minors.

Fifteen to 18 term credit hours of study are typically required to obtain a minor in a particular field of study.

Popular minors include cultural anthropology, Asian studies, international economics, women’s studies, ethics, and medieval studies.
