This is an excellent opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research as
part of a team with faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
Many
undergraduates
publish
and
present
papers
and
receive research grants. Classes,
especially in upper-level courses, have only 10-20 students for
optimum
participation. The atmosphere also is very informal, so that it is easy
for students and faculty to know each other well. Our record for placing
students
in top graduate programs is exceptionally strong; many have pursued Ph.D.
programs at some of the country’s top universities. A number of degrees are
offered to accommodate various interests and proficiency levels.
