Development and External Affairs is led by Brad Cheves, who joined SMU in August 2004 as vice president. We are in the public phase of The Second Century Campaign commemorating the University's founding in 1911 and its opening in 1915.
As of November 2011, The Second Century Campaign reported a total of over $574 million in gifts and is well on its way to attaining its 50 percent alumni participation goal.
